We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is a well managed hotel with super friendly service. I am on east coast time so I get down to the breakfast area really early every morning, and each day saw the kitchen staff work diligently to get everything ready before 6am. They have my appreciation.

Excellent room and service, but hotel is right on the train tracks. BART trains stop running between Midnight and 5am, so you have to limit your sleep to those hours. There is an intersection right by the hotel so the train honks very loudly as it approaches, and the warning signals add their own charm. Not recommended at all.

With the train noise just next to the hotel I’m doubting those 5 star reviews are fake ones. It’s impossible to sleep. If you are in building A, every time the train passes by the noise is very loud. Also the building was shaking like an earthquake when the train passed at night at times like 00:30am and even 1:30am! I went to Liuvia at the reception and she basically was like oh we can move you to building B but it’ll be pretty much the same. Worst hotel stay ever. Impossible to sleep!

We have stayed here 5+ times - it's our go-to in the area and as someone with MAJOR hotel germophobia, it's consistently one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in, with spacious rooms, great hotel gym, nice staff, and a solid complimentary breakfast every morning. My only complaint is the noise (it's literally 20 feet from the train tracks which are frequented by Caltrain at all hours of the day so I do not recommend the hotel for very light sleepers, but every room comes with a noise machine and I've had no trouble sleeping.

They have three buildings from A-C and building A is right next to the train line, which is a pure torture, please be my guest if any doubts. However the stuff are super nice and switched me to building C, which is not much affected. Building A should not be used for residential purpose anymore though!

Very nice all around. Service, time, breakfast all great. Right on the cal train line. This is good and bad. Building A shakes from the trains some times but they mitigate the noise pretty well and the trains don't run in the middle of the night.
